Marina Murphy

RN, RM, CPN, C &FHN, Cert1V Training & Assessment

Marinas career has been in healthcare for over 50 years, working in NSW Public Hospitals and Ramsay Private Hospitals. Marina has worked across Medical/Surgical areas, Palliative care, Education, Hospital Administration and Paediatrics. The focus of her career over the past 25 years has been on Child and Family Health Nursing and Education concurrently. Marina is currently employed at Westmead Private Hospital as an Educator. Marina has developed a commitment to compassionate service delivery and patient advocacy, aligning closely with SHCH mission to support those in the community requiring palliative care. Marina has lived in the Highlands for 6 years, enjoying reading, keeping fit, gardening and cultural pursuits and has been involved in voluntary work over many years. Marina is honoured to join the SHCH Board and looks forward to contributing with her healthcare and education insight.
