Help make a real difference to someone in need
Southern Highlands Community Hospice raises charitable funds to support and fund palliative care patients exclusively, throughout the Southern Highlands. Your donations assist efforts to support palliative patients by reducing financial stress through funding additional in-home care, the rental of or purchase of equipment and mobility aids, pharmacy costs, biography and life story services.
- $30 can be used for skincare products for cancer patients
- $50 purchases a pack of 14 incontinence pants
- $100 pays for the rental or purchase of a recliner lift chair for 1 month
- $125 pays for a single general treatment from a mobile podiatrist
- $200 pays for a palliative care nurse for 1 hour
- $500 can help pay for a specialist consultation
- $750 pays for a new transit wheelchair
- $1500 pays for the accommodation cost of an end-of-life hospital bed for two nights
- $3000 buys a recliner lift chair
