Pharmaceutical Support
Southern Highlands
To further support Palliative Care across the Southern Highlands, the SHCH proudly supports patients by providing funding for the ongoing costs of end-of-life medications.
- This service is not means tested
- Available to any individual who is currently receiving non-cancer related palliative care or has reached their Can Assist cap.
- This service covers all prescription medication and approved non-prescription medications up to $500 per month
- Individuals are free to choose their preferred Pharmacy within the Wingecarribee Shire

Palliative Care
In partnership with palliative care specialists, we can provide funding for diverse palliative care needs such as additional nursing, social work, carer support and equipment hire.
Pharmaceutical Support
We can offer assistance with the ongoing cost of prescriptions and other pharmacy costs. This assistance is not means-tested and is available to individuals receiving palliative care.
Biography & Life Story Service
A personal biography can help foster reflection on one's life and communicate experiences and wisdom. This free service helps to preserve your memories and tell your story.
